Vernis, which directly translates to varnish, is patent leather embossed with the iconic monogram and was introduced by Marc Jacobs in 1998. This beautifully made bag in Amarante Vernis will compliment any outfit through summer and into winter. Made in France. Date Code: FL1150 (although challenging to read as the stamp has worn due to being printed on the internal material - this is very typical of this style of stamping)

Good - light signs of wear, unnoticeable when wearing, with or without original dust bag/box

Vintage - a vintage piece will also have one of the four ratings above but may also show signs of its age
