Details: This scarf depicts the Leopard pattern, born from the unique collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Stephen Sprouse.  Stephen Sprouse (1952-2004) was a pioneer of the pop rock and punk trends and was one of the most influential artists and fashion designers of the 1980s.  The collaboration with Louis Vuitton came about in 2001 when Marc Jacobs invited him to reinterpret Louis Vuittons iconic leather goods for the women’s Spring-Summer fashion show.  It was at this time that the famous leopard print, that features on this scarf, was created.  Marc Jacobs paid homage to him in 2006-2007 fashion show applying the iconic leopard print to ready-to-wear scarves, shoes and bags for the first time.  Made in Italy.
